Da Future, Las Vegas, Nevada’s own, newest most DYNAMIC and HOTTEST, super talented youth rap act to embark upon the music scene has been nominated for “Best Hip-Hop Artist" by a duo or group and added to perform at the Las Vegas Music Awards. The event will take place Saturday, September 3, 2005 at The Horn Theatre, (CCSN - Cheyenne Campus) at 6:00 P.M., located at 3200 E. Cheyenne Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030.

The three member group who were given their name by singer turned actor TYRESE will perform their debut single, simply titled “No Name" at the event. The highly anticipated “HOT" single is scheduled for release to radio in early January 2006 on an independent label. Group members Dizzy, K.J., and Young D are currently working on completing the recording of their debut album, which is also due early next year. Negotiations between the group’s management and several major record labels for the debut album have just started and are going well say’s the group’s manager Katrenia Wright.

The performance will be the first public appearance for the group since the original two members Dizzy & K.J. added the newest member Young D to the group last year. Prior to becoming recording artist and the addition to the group, the two were known throughout the entertainment industry as youth reporters for a locally monthly-published newsletter in Las Vegas simply known as “Just for Kids News." During the time they spent traveling and reporting entertainment and sports news, the youth reporters interviewed major celebrity’s such as Magic Johnson, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, Tim Duncan, Boxing Champions Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Roy Jones and the list goes on and on and reads like a who’s who of Hollywood.

Looking into the future, the success of the group now, is so highly anticipated, that they have already received an offer for a thirty -(30) city tour for next summer (2006) from a major concert promoter out of Atlanta, Georgia. This would seem rightfully so, considering some of the heavyweight producers and songwriters involved in the debut album project. Some of those involved include Harold Lilly, Gerard Thomas and Earl Baskerville. Collectively, their credits include hit records on Destiny’s Child, Alicia Keys, Janet Jackson, Ruben Studdard and Mario to name a few. The group is supported by a strong management and promotions team and is now ready to hit the music industry like a MAJOR STORM from “Out of Nowhere" which is also the title of their debut album. Look for their performance at the first ever Las Vegas Music Awards and see for yourself exactly what all the hype is about. One thing is for sure and can not be denied and that is… the kids of today are indeed Da Future!
